A fully funded opportunity for summer training provided by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD)
DAAD invites students from all over the world to apply to participate in the University’s summer internship program for international students and graduates.
The courses run for at least 18 teaching days (max. 5 days/week, excluding days of arrival and departure) with a minimum of 25 hours of teaching a week.
The program aims to help students and graduates improve their knowledge of German (general and special language) and their cultural knowledge of the country.

Details of the summer training provided by DAAD
Deadline for applications: 1 December 2019
• Course Level: These scholarships are open to students enrolled in a bachelor’s and master’s degree program.
• Subject of study: Scholarships are available to students needs to get summer language courses.
• Place of training: Germany
Eligibility criteria for the summer training offered by DAAD
Applications are open to students in Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programs in any subject area.
Bachelor students must have completed at least two academic years at the start of the program period.
English Language Requirements:
Applicants must be able to follow lectures in German and collaborate in teams.
Proof of German language skills must be provided with the application.
The language certificate for the required minimum language should be no more than one year old. Language
certificates from B2 or TDN4 in all examined sections may be older than one year.
The following language certificates can be accepted: onDaF, TestDaF, GI-Nachweis, DSD, DSH, telc Deutsch, ÖSD.
In principle, applicants must provide proof of a minimum language level of A2
Funding during the summer training provided by DAAD
One-off scholarship payment of 950 euros; scholarship holders from “Least Developed Countries” receive a scholarship of 1,125 euros.

Payments towards health, accident and personal liability insurance cover
How to apply for the summer training program provided by DAAD
Online ordering takes place through the DAAD portal.
You are also required to send one copy of the Application Summary (PDF), which is created in the DAAD portal after
the online application is completed, by mail.
Documents to upload via DAAD Certificates, proof of credits, certifications and translations may be submitted in

• Motivation speech (in German)
• A copy of your degree certificate with a transcript, if available (with German or English translation)
• Academic Degrees for the last two years (in German or English)
• Language certificates
