About the Course:
If you have a first degree in a Health Science, Computer Science, Life Science, Maths or Engineering subject and want to develop as a leader in this field, our MSc in Digital Health provides you with the necessary technological expertise and an understanding of the health landscape in order to maintain empathy with the patient’s needs and an eye to new business opportunities.
If you’re from an Engineering or Computer Sciences background, you’ll be introduced to relevant aspects of health. If you have a Health Science or Life Science background you will be introduced to coding, data analysis and e-health.
The course enables you to evaluate the safety and efficacy of new products and assess the ethical principles that guide the development of new health technologies. You’ll finally undertake a summer project, usually inspired by a real need in the NHS or industry.

Applicants must hold/achieve a minimum of an upper-second class honours degree (or international equivalent) in a relevant discipline. This can be either a STEM-related discipline (e.g. computer science, engineering) or a health-related discipline (e.g. life sciences, medicine, health sciences, psychology, neuroscience, nursing or an allied health profession).

If you wish to be considered for financial support please say so within your application. You will need to complete the normal application process, including interview. If we offer you a place with financial support, you will need to accept it within two weeks of the offer being made.
The university will cover 50% of the fees of the programme in the form of a fee waiver for both Home and Overseas students (please see programme details for fee levels).
The university will additionally offer a single payment of £7,000 to help cover living expenses during the year.
