PhD Studentship Programme in Science at University of East Anglia
The University of East Anglia is inviting students from all over the world to apply for “Edesia PhD Studentship Programme in Science” funded by the Wellcome Trust at the University of East Anglia.
This award is open for outstanding students from all over the world. Up to 5 studentships will be available per year and it provides funding a generous maintenance stipend, tuition fees, and a research and training support grant.

Applicants should fulfil the entry requirements for PhD registration at the University of East Anglia (UEA) and should have, or expect to obtain, a minimum of Upper Second Class UK Honours Degree or equivalent. Applicants must also demonstrate English language proficiency; read more information on UEA entry requirements here.
Applications to the EDESIA: plants, food and health programme should be made using the online application form on the UEA website. The system will be open for applications to the EDESIA programme from 28 October.
Applications are made to the programme, and not to an individual project. Candidates must create an account on the UEA electronic admissions system: more information is available on the website.
The fellowship will provide generous maintenance stipend, tuition fees, and a research and training support grant. In addition, graduates will have access to funding to support the transition to the next stage of their career.
