Faculty of Science masters  scholarships at The University of Strathclyde

The University of Strathclyde is proudly inviting students from around the world to get up to 100 Faculty of Science masters  scholarship for outstanding international students in the United Kingdom.

Up to 100 scholarships of between £2,000 – £5,000 are available to new international students joining a postgraduate taught masters degree in the Faculty of Science in the 2020/2021 academic year.

Eligibility           

In order to be considered for a Faculty of Science International Masters Scholarship, candidates must:

  • Be a new, international (non-EU) fee-paying student holding an offer of admission for a full-time, taught masters degree in the Faculty of Science for the 2020/2021 academic year.
  • Hold, or be on track, to receive a minimum of an upper second-class undergraduate degree (or international equivalent).
  • Be self-funded. Students who receive full scholarships, for example from a government office or embassy, will not be eligible.
  • Aspirants can apply for a postgraduate degree program in Chemistry, Computer and information sciences, Mathematics and statistics, Pharmacy and biomedical sciences, Physics, Forensic science, Biochemistry, Biology and biological sciences, Biomedical science, Immunology, Microbiology, Pharmacology, Pharmacy.

Application process

Applicants will automatically be considered for a scholarship using the information contained in their application for admission. No separate scholarship application is necessary.

Scholarships will be awarded on a competitive basis to candidates who demonstrate in their application for admission excellent academic performance (current and/ or previously gained) and any relevant extra-curricular or professional experience.

 Scholarship Benefits:

The grant will be awarded worth up to £2,000 – £5,000 to each successful scholar.
